While passing by Philcoa on my way home this afternoon, I saw a young boy hugging his father tight while waiting for a jeepney. I had this wild urge to grab the boy’s hand and to pull him away. I wanted to shake him really hard and to scream my warning to him.

“They die, kid. They die and it will break your heart!”

Then I’d run away and leave him wondering which circus I escaped from.

Christ, that would totally freak out the boy!

Yes, that's true. Fathers die. I feel like crying now. :'(

  2. Lost someone too dear as well? it's hard to shake it off, isn't it? Maybe we aren't supposed to ever be able to shake it off. Maybe its supposed to stay with us the rest of our lives and shape us...
